Untie the thread

Come out to the meadow with us

We’re getting married! With flowers in our hair, cake on the table and all the people we love. Be there when we say “I do” among the poppies and cornflowers.

Our story

How it all began

  1. 2017

    The festival in the rain

A tent that leaked and a neighbour with a tarpaulin. It rained for three days and neither of us noticed.

  2. 2019

    The old camper van

Bought without a test drive, pushed to the nearest garage. We have been driving somewhere every summer since.

  3. 2023

    A dog called Kiesel

He was the smallest of the litter and decided on the spot that he belonged with us.

  4. 2026

    The question by the campfire

Jakob hid the ring in a bag of marshmallows. Mila very nearly toasted it.

Our day

Nice and relaxed – roughly like this

  1. 13:00

    Arrival

Lemonade, flower crowns and a spot in the shade.

  2. 14:00

    Ceremony

On the meadow behind the farmhouse, looking out over the water.

  3. 15:00

    Coffee & cake

Twelve cakes, baked by our families.

  4. 17:00

    Games & music

Boules, kubb and a band on the hay wagon.

  5. 19:00

    Barbecue

From the farm, the fields and the region.

  6. 22:00

    Campfire & dancing

In and around the barn, until the stars fade.

Good to know

A few notes

So you can enjoy every moment of the day.

Paper cut: a straw hat, a floral linen dress, a shirt with rolled-up sleeves and leather sandals
  • Shoes for the meadow

We are celebrating outside on the grass. Flat shoes or sandals make the day easier – barefoot works too.

  • Camping welcome

If you would like to stay, pitch your tent in the orchard. There are showers in the farmhouse, and breakfast at ten.

  • Children are very welcome

There are straw bales to climb, a craft corner and childcare from 7 pm.

  • Kiesel is coming too

Our dog is carrying the rings. Unless he buries them first.

You asked

Questions & answers

May I bring someone?

If your invitation says “plus one”: absolutely. Just add them in the form.

What if it rains?

Then we will party in the barn. Bring your good mood anyway – and perhaps your wellies.

Will there be vegetarian food?

More than enough! Just note your preferences in the form.

How do I get back?

A bus leaves for Kappeln at midnight and at 2 am. Or simply stay in your tent.
