A little trip back in time
How it all began
- 1977
The beginning
Born in Kassel in autumn, when the leaves in the park had already turned gold.

The border opens
Aged twelve, on her father's shoulders, in the middle of the crowd.

Studying in Florence
Architecture, espresso standing at the bar and a soft spot for old glasshouses.

We met while restoring a palm house. Where else?

A 19th-century glasshouse full of palms and ferns. In the evening, candles glow among the leaves. The entrance is on Schlossallee.

Where can I stay?
Rooms are reserved at the castle hotel opposite – just quote “Emerald”.

Absolutely! Just check with Thomas beforehand so the running order works.
